Another Visual Novel? Western?

Beautiful art, Amazing music, Unique gameplay, and on top of that, A FEMALE PROTAGONIST?!?! Full of win. Seriously

Shikkoku no Sharnoth -What a Beautiful Tomorrow- came out last friday and thanks to Panda (yes i did call you Panda) he introduced it to me and i gotta say, its awesome. Sure its not translated and yes i don't know the whole plot of this game (yet) but its just simply mind boggling (?). I mean im making a post dedicated to this. Thats gotta mean something right? >.>

All i know is theres a Black World, main character, Mary Clarissa Christie (the one with the mixed colored eyes), has a golden eye which appears to be very important, "The M" is interested in Mary, and the whole world is covered in Clouds. Yep thats all i know. Good thing there is voice dialog in the visual novel so i can understand a little on what is going on but other than these points, i have no idea whats the point lol.

And also Sherlock Holmes and Winston Churchill are also characters in here but i have yet to encounter Sherlock yet.

Whats unique about this visual novel is the gameplay like i mentioned earlier. Instead of fighting enemies, u're actually running away from them. weird isnt it? u have to find 4 fragments in order to pass the stage and theres 4 counters A/B/C/D which tell you have many spaces u are from each fragment. Its also turn based. To me its pretty fun since its a new concept plus running away from enemies is kinda of a challenge if u dont move in the right spaces.

Well thats all i really have to say about this game. Love the art (they need to make wallpapers), the music is awesome, and seriously...a female protagonist!

Ah fall....the cold is back, night falls faster than ever, and waiting for buses is even more of a pain =_=

Happy Be-lated Birthday to Chihara Minori!!! Her birthday was 2 days ago but yay! (favorite Seiyuu and jpop singer ^^). She's now 28 and her next album entitled "Parade" is coming out next Wednesday, Nov. 26 so thats something to look forward to. For me atleast =P

Thanksgiving is also coming up next week. Family gathering, huge feast, and of course the traditional turkey. Me, however, is stuck working for 8 hours serving the turkey to elderly people.....how fun. Well atleast i get extra pay and that sure is something i need right now. Mai family dont really celebrate Thanksgiving anyway.

Laptop is getting outdated....severely...tryng to find good deals and get a better one with a decent graphics card. Mai desktop is on maintenance and no idea when ill get to it. wonder if i can request one for a Christmas present...naw mai parents would never...guess i have to work more =_=

A Whole New Beginning...

Wow it has been awhile huh? Ive been meaning to go back to updating earlier but i just couldnt bring maiself into it haha. well its already November now meaning elections are over, semester is alittle more than halfway done, start to think more on what to do for the year 2009 since its only 2 months away....yea alot of things are gonna be happening and already has happened so all we can do is wait for now.

Congrats to Senator Obama on being the next president for the next four years. Personally im not that into politics so to be it sorta just happened. It was a total landslide and now having the first African American president in the US, there is bound to be change. For better or worse it all depends on how u look at it.

Enough about politics. College life. yea....it is something. probably only sound this way since im in a community college for now haha but things are going pretty well for me. Grades are steadying up, passed all mai midterms already, and most importantly, saving a hell like of money haha. I have future plans of course so im not gonna stay there forever. Some occasions i go ahead and visit UMCP just for the hell of it. Need to visit more often now but been busy lately and after i get a car (which is already being processed right now) ill most likely go over there more often to hang out with some friends and such =].

Other than that...life has been pretty good so far. College life is much better than High school by far. Just relaxing more and pretty much just going with the flow. Been watching some interesting anime this season which is surprisingly really good. Too many to keep track haha but i have time...sometimes. Ill be sure to update more frequently, including new purchases i got, future plans, and such. Till then, enjoy life and prepare whats in store in the future =]

Im still alive!!

Its been awhile since i came back to this. Its already almost midway of July meaning Summer Vacation? Of course! for me however im stuck still working almost everyday full time so i havent really experienced any vacation at all yet. Eventually though I'll have mai chance of freedom.

So..to highlight the events that happened since the last update, went to Flordia for a band trip which was amazing. Loads of fun, had only one day dedicated to music but even so it was still awesome, played famous Disney music like pieces from Beauty and the Beast as well as Little Mermaid. We even got DVD recordings of it later on so its definitely a trip to remember.

What else...o yea...done with High School finally. However I almost did NOT graduate due to the fact the school lost mai SSL hours so i had to go get the formed signed again which was a huge pain in the a$$. But atleast i graduated ^^ off to college!!!!.....at MC lol I don't mind much really, I know a bunch of ppl going there as well and eventually I'll transfer to a university (College Park) so yea "Just as Planned!"

Ah yes theres also alot of Drama going around, hoever, Im not gonna go into it. Rough times, cutting it close, stupid actions, all very tough to get through. But things lightened up a whole lot now and hopefully things will go back on track.

And mai plans for the rest of the summer? WORK!! Seriously, thats all I've been doing, working. I'm tired, cranky, and about to lose it with mai boss but i need the money plus i heard job hunting is alot more difficult than it was before so I really have no choice. Ah well, plus the Seattle trip is about to go down the drain since plane tickets are sky rocketing. Thats fine though, alittle disappointed but its ok. Instead, I'll probably go to Otakon and go crazy hehe. Cosplaying is a maybe. Probably not but who knows i do want to try it out.

Well thats it for now. Just wanted to update this blog. Dont think anyone comes here anymore anyway. I like to write these things like this so dont think this blog is gonna die yet. Next entry will be the main purchases i made doing the last couple of months. Alot of stuff =D

March Spendings

didnt spend all that much on products this month, more on food and other personal things =D. Heres the overview of almost everything i purchased this month. I say almost because the other things arent really worth showing, just smaller items like mini figures and keychains. anyway, the above pic shows the follow items:

Starting off with the swords, these are replicas of Kenshin's Sakabatou and Rukia's Zanpakuto. The Sakabatou if dont already know is a reverse blade sword, meaning the blade is where the dull part of the sword is and vice versa. The blade is extremely sharp, I learned the hard way by cutting mai finger when cleaning off the oil >_<>, except the blade which i kinda wanted it white but its alrite. I just love the ribbon on it, why? its awesome =P not sharp, but it doesnt matter, its a decorative sword.



This is Comic Party Revolution, the sequel to Comic Party which i also own. Not many ppl like it for the corny puns and the "not so interesting" plot but i like it. Basically still continue about doujin creating in anime conventions and goes more in dept with the side characters which i like. Its a thin pack collectors DVD, even more the reason to buy it XD

Welcome to the NHK vol 3: haha its a good anime, i never finished it when it was on the air so im gonna finish it when i finish buying the rest of the DVDs. Its funny, pretty accurate to those Hikkimori's out there, and a bit sketchy but thats what makes it hilarious.
School Rumble vol 8: I love School Rumble so its a must buy for me. Still funny no matter how many times i watch it. The collectors box is actually in a form of a school locker which is pretty neat. Its exactly like the manga which i like so basically its like reading with moving pictures XD
Air Gear vol 7: Yes i know its a main stream manga, but i dont care. Its cool, funny, and awesome. This volume concentrates on Akito and the team is now facing Behemoth which is the strongest and largest D rank class. Its interesting.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl: Is there more to say?
Megami Magazine April Issue #95: I have a subscription to Megami Magazine and they provide upcoming anime thats gonna air as well as great posters that i have scattered around the room.

Life Proceeding to the Future

Gah mai phone has gone to a better place....actually just the screen the phone still works....just cant see anything >_<>_< *sigh* and now i cant even FIND mai phone -.-" somewhere in mai room somewhere....and lucky me its on silent too....so much for calling it -.-" by now it should be out of batteries any way......bleh

Well school....been really lazy lately.....feels like Im just drifting from class to class with the occasionally nap in between >.> mai grades are slipping again so I gotta snap out of it >_< Florida Band Trip coming up in two months =D only been there once so Im pretty excited to go back. I need a vacation anyway XD

Expect a huge Anime update within the next week or so....in the process of getting all mai priorities and will probably have all i want by the end of the month. Meaning, Lots of Anime = Happy =D. Yet Anime is Expensive = Sad T.T gonna probably take pictures and upload it here probably a mini review just for the heck of it =D

Well its almost the end of the school year with many events to look forward to like Prom, Otakon, Seattle, Florida, etc. I cant wait till its summer again. Also decided to stay at MC for atleast a year since i didnt get into mai priority college. Saves money and I know a lot of people doing the same thing so I think its a good choice. to mai other friends, Congratz =D hope to see you all again after this year is over. Gonna miss all the friends Ive made and come close with. Enjoy the present and prepare for the future as they say....

Two hr delay today....not bad but at the same time disappointing....

got pretty bored when i got home so decided to re-read some chapters of Megatokyo since there are some weird parts and really confusing parts. sometimes i wonder what would happen if i was in their position....poor Piro and Largo....although it would be an interesting experience to live through haha stuck in Japan working at an Anime/Gamers shop.....mai dream....XD (not really)

well ran out of things to say since nothing else really happened...just one day after last update so i didnt expect much. well gotta resume that chem hw.....*sigh*

Colleges.....acceptance? UMDBC, Towsen. Rejected? USW. Havent read? UMDCP. I'll probably know tomorrow or something. everyone is awaiting mai reply that. haha mai thoughts? eh maybe. ill be happy if i get in and wont feel too bad getting rejected if i do. Either way is fine with me. Im too laid back hahaha....

Got Devil May Cry 4 and beat it in two days hahah....it was good. although boss fights are repetitive. as in, fighting the same three bosses like three times -.-" o well the plot i liked and the new unique gameplay is pretty good. although i wish using the Yamato (Vergil's Sword) is more frequent than using it in Devil Trigger mode or one mission with Dante. otherwise good game i give it a 9/10 haha

February.....*sigh* mai money is gonna vanish by the time this month is gone....why are all the good releases coming out this month? >_< one reason why being an Otaku is regrettable.....as long as i dont become a Hikkimori im fine =D

well i should finish this packet....i have an essay to right as well....ah the glory of procrastination....isnt it grand? -.-" i hope theres atleast a delay tomorrow.....damn salt and sand....BEGONE!!! >_<

Exams Over! Work Overload!

Exams are over yay......work is calling me in like crazy boooo T.T

yep...ever since exams were done ive been going to work everyday -.-" so mai 5 day weekend is more like a one day weekend cuz i dont get off work till tuesday T.T o well cant wait for that day hehe =D

ah so bought all of Strawberry Marshmallow on DVD and im pleased with it. Love the manga and the anime is exactly like it so its really good =D. Think of it as Azumanga Diaoh....but alot cuter and more chibi ^^ that alone wins mai vote XD too lazy to put up pictures for this purchase but i might sneak it in next time i buy something added to mai unless anime collection -.-"

o yes i'm finally gonna take driving school haha yay! starting next week so i can finally get mai license hopefully before the school year ends....hopefully before prom....please let it be before prom T.T

hmm next anime purchase? probably not till February since all the good releases come out then. that includes Kanon collection box vol 2 (gonna buy vol. 1 & 2 together), N.H.K vol 3, Air Gear manga vol 7, Tsukihime manga vol 5 (FINALLY), and School Rumble vol 5, Looking forward to February but not looking forward to the amount of money im gonna spend T.T

*sigh* sometimes i need to think before buying things....apparently thats impossible T.T

lets see...decided to buy all of AIR including the movie since it comes with a nice collectors box. really is nice XD. Also buy N.H.K only two DVDs released so far but it also comes with a collectors box. So far its good a bit sketchy but its good. btw that right there cost about 130 bucks -.-" good thing i had a gift card so i only paid halve of that ^^.

Then i ordered the whole collection set of Strawberry Marshmallow which cost about 60 bucks but i liked the manga series so might as well XD. thinking about buying all of Chobits as well but that might be later (I <3 Thinpack DVDs XD). Really if it weren't for mai job i dont know what id do.....
